Invalid Map error?

Error Invalid Map terrain Imapscale <= 0


Just got this error and never seen it before its my 11th compile this week so i know i made a boo boo somewere ,other 10 were fine.

Anyone know WTF it is ,only 1 piece of LOD terrian in the map.


Compiles fine get that when loading the map.

That's a new one on me. Try opening your ".map" file with wordpad--the terrain is easy to spot in the text. I have saved a lot of maps that way, ha ha.

Here is what mine looks like, the first three patches anyway. Where it says 0.50000... is the scale of the texture (sand), I think.

think i acidently set the LOD terrain to Detail ,recompiling now and the BSP before the light worked.

Will try again after light is complete.

THe other thing to check is that EACH LOD Patch isn't higher than 510!! You'll know if it is too high as the points turn from purple to yellow......

Wont compile if its like that ,but nearly compiled will know soon enough.

Btw i posted a thread for any compile errors if you guys can add to it be great so ppl wont have to look at the Q3 ones that have little or no meaning on mohrad.
