.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

For the past week Ive been coming here and I keep seeing an add for RTCW for x box and PS2. So decided to view the trailer.
My first thought was WHAT A RIP OFF. Every single map they shown except the castle was from dedicated mappers. The maps shown in the preview are from MP maps that were made by guys like you and me.
(if you look at the trailer the part where there is a tram that is someones work no id's).

I like that game only for Onine game play. It is pretty good.
I like ID softaware. But they go too far to take someone elses work and advertise it for there own.

Kinda reminds me of EA.

Im gonna guess you just needed to post somfin to fill a few minutes because its the only way this post makes sense in any way.
To say ID (creators of all things lovely in terms of mapping) ripped off people who made maps for their game is just insane.

The people who made those maps would more than likely been hired by ID if its there maps.
ID are renowned for hiring mappers from their games communties and using their skills in new games.


Seriously a bit of thought before you hit the "insane post" button would be nice.

lol sorry. But i Used to be an avid RTCW player online. And most of the maps we download we had to go to the fan site and download from him/her. So unless ID payed money to all of the people that made those maps im still sticking with my post.
