Hi guys!
First of all... sorry about my poor english, i'm from Spain.
I have a BIG problem with Mohradiant that anybody seems to be able to give a solution.
I can't see the textures while i'm mapping!!!!
The only way to see them is compiling the map and launching the game, on that way i see the room i made with the textures.
Imagine doing maps wihout seeing the textures applied!!!
I've downloaded different copies of Mohradiant from many sites but still got the same problem, but the amazing thing is that i've installed Mohradiant in the computer i got on my job (without the game!!!), and in this computer the program works!!!
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee any idea, comment?
Thanks!!!!!

Hi kdja!!
Thanks for your sooner reply!
The installation of my Mohradiant is ok! There's no problem. I followed the instructions of a Tutorial page, and set the directories correctly.
Do u think it's a problem with my computer? my video card? anything else of hardware? my computer is an Intel Pentium III, 20Gb HD, 128 Mb RAM, 32Mb Ram (Ati Xpert 2000), Windows 98 2nd Edition......
In my job, Mohradiant works great without the game installed
I can see the default texture of the brushes (squares blue and red, isn't it?), and i see the textures i choose and apply for walls, ceiling, floor.......
Thanks, i hope u reply soon!

K let me get this straight
You use Mohradient in work without the game installed.
The you take the map home and play it and the textures are there.
is that corect??
if so the reason you cant see the textures is because they are not there the game must be installed to see them in the PAK files.
if that is not correct please explain a bit more
i doubt its hardware as its software only.
For instance the reason entdef 3 goes into mainn is so that radient can see the pak3 files and read them.

Preferences
Open radient and go to EDIT in the top drop menu scroll down to PREFERENCES
and use mine as a basis for your own.
Mine arent perfect but they work for me;p

Hi Kdja!
Let me explain again with my poor english....
The problem is not that the map i make at work, doesn't work at home...
At home i open Mohradient and start a new map, then when i draw a brush, in the 3d view, i only see the brush i draw but i don't see any texture filling the sides. I only see, after deselected, the brush like the sides were made of glass, with thin lines but nothing filling the space inside the lines, only gray color everywhere. After that i select again one side of the brush and apply a texture but when the brush is deselected i can't see the texture applied, once again the brush looks like it was made of glass.
When i can see the textures applied is after compiling the map, launching the game and selecting the map i made. I said map? je je je
At work when i draw a brush on a new map i see the brush with a texture that is composed by red and blue squares, i think is the default texture, but i don't see the brush like i see it at home like it was made of glass.
(i can see all the textures cause, as u said, i don't have the game installed.)
I installed Mohradient at work to test it on another PC, thinking that my PC at home had some problem of hardware.
Well this is how the story is,
The way u set up Mohradient on your PC doesn't work at mine
Now really i'm getting desperate!!!!
Thanks a lot Kdja!!!!!

The only thing i can think is to redownload the editor from EA website and reinstall and follow the tutorial 100%.
I never seen anything like it and judging by the amount of replies noone else has either.
go here
www.modtheater.com and ask there maybe someone there will know.
