Vehicle Questions

if i use a vehicle>american>sherman, what entity do i use to set its path? will it have animated treads when it moves? also, is there a way to connect entities so if one moves, the others move with it? i really need to know the answers to all these questions because in my new top secret map, a top secret us tank was stolen by the nazi's and the crew is held hostage, until they give info about the tank. the tank is codename "squirtle". it's a completely superior tank. it has the manuverability of a sherman, firepower of a king tiger, 2 battering rams(yes! 2!!!!), and a howitzer to top it off(literally). heres a pic of it... tell me what you think...

p.s. the allies must hurry because the crew members are slipping up. the tank is already renamed "en-flagga-kam-fn".

I think the sherman can only be used as a static model

yes the sherman tank can only be used as static model as rox said so try another vechile/tank i will send you a map (if you want it) that has a tank that moves well the treds do anywy!

maybe ill change the chasis from sherman to tiger... so does it look good???
it reminds me of something they should put in battlefield1942: secret weapons of ww2

The panzer, tiger and king tiger will all work. If you want an allied tank apparently the T34 works but I haven't tried it.

T34 also works fine, i tried it in a multiplayer map.
The only disadvantage of all tanks in the multiplayer map is that they become notsolid.
I also got lots of problems when using the Panzer, Tiger and the kingtiger and using the parameter on solid... can only drive backwards.. very weird.
The T34 works fine with that parameter.

This is a bit complicated but if its all you want you could have the sherman drive a path and have emiters set up to make a flash from the barrel and have a projectile blast something, so your tank could drive around and boom at this n that and players would be none the wiser. I couldnt script it butthis place is infested with people who can
