'Clone' and 'Clone Exact'

Post by Zip »

What's the difference between 'Clone' and 'Clone Exact' ? I can't see any difference!

I generally use 'Clone Exact' to copy things in my map, is that OK?

To copy things when I am mapping I just hit the space bar and it duplicates any brushes that I had selected.
This can be a bit of hassle as I also use the space bar in photoshop to scroll around the screen, such a habit that I duplicate stuff in radiant all the damn time :)
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

Clone actually copies the func/group of the brush, but gives it generic targets and targetnames (like t1, t2, etc...)
