on a trigger, put key: setthread value: ai_setup

then in yoru script, make a thread ai_setup:

put something in it like...

level.villageidiot exec global/friendly.scr::menotidiotanymore

or whatever you want the ai to be.

Maybe you just mean:

level.villageidiot.enableEnemy = 1
