I'm trying to learn the basics of mapping. In the tutorials, they say "right-click in the Main window and select lights". Further they say "right-click in the main window and select info>player>start". Well, there's no lights or info there. Looks like I'm with a different version from you guys. I've tryed to download your version but when I click on a server it says "this server is for subscribers only"(grrrrr....).

If you're using MOHRadiant it sounds like you haven't put entdefs.pk3 into your 'main' folder. Wherever you unzipped MOHRadiant to there should be a file called 'entdefs.pk3', just cut and paste it into 'main'.
If you're using MOHRadiant SDK it sounds like you have a serious problem there!

Try re-installing it.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, the file was there in the main folder. The thing was I didn't "cut", I've "copy" and the file was in the previous location TOO. So I deleted the 1rst file and....voila'. Now it's working. Thanks again.

Hehe, lights are sneeky!
You'll find lights by....
1. Right click in 2D window
2. Select 'Static' ----> 'Lamp'
3. Take your pick
Also, if you want your lights to look cool:
After you have your desired light in your map add a corona over the light bulb:
1. Right click in 2D window
2. Select 'Static' ----> 'Corona' ----> 'Reg' or 'Util' (I don't think it matters)
3. Place the corona over your lightbulb.
The corona looks a bit odd in MOHRadiant (all black with a white lightbulb in it), but when you play your map it will look just fine (Trust me

)
There you go! Any problems and I'm happy to help again
