Rain

What do you guys think of using rain? Is it a good idea? Any major problems I should know about?
Does it affect FPS in any major way?

I think it's a good idea, but not very original

.

Don't worry too much about fps, the user can disable weather effects if it drops too much.

Rain sound may pose a problem for mp maps though.
