is there any way of making your own trees for mohradiant? i extracted all the common tree models to mohaa/main, but i cant find the .tik file for it, only ones like .skd that comes up with loads of symbols when i open them in notepad. Doesnt radiant only open .tik files? I've looked at trees.shader too, but i want to know if i can make my own tree models before i edit it so i dont waste all my time.

SKD is the file format EA used to make 3d models.

They wont release the plugin for 3dmax that allows creation and editing of in game models.
Simply because with that plugin you could make an Expansion pack of your own for free :)

that plugin is the SDK as far as i am concerned as there is nothing else we cant do.

recap SKD = 3d image
SDk is software dev kit

i was thinking of making new textures, and putting them on the common tree model, not making a whole new model. I thought that if i copied the commontree model files and renamed them dead_tree or something, then i could edit the shader, and add another part for the new files, with my textures. A destroyed tree would have the same model, but with no leaves. A bit like making your own skins: putting a new texture on an old model, while you can still use the old model aswell.
