Hi everyone, I'm a newbi mapper trying to get better.

I've begun my first full scale map, and all goes well for the first two days. But now MOHradient crashes on me when I try to load the generel_structure texture..? This started yesterday, and I didn't pay much attention to it. But now I really need some textures from generel_structure, and I can't get them because MOHradient is forced to close down.

Could this be a problem with my map?
My map works fine compiling and all, but when I try to load generel_structure it is forced to close down..

Again it did work in the begining. Is this a problem with my map? or a potential bug?

No its MoH Radiant that is at fault - That happens to me everytime I open folder with a large number of textures in...

Read this. Its a different way to get textures..

thx :)

thx alot...

One thing,

generel_structure foler used to open before, but now it doesn't.
So why would it all of a sudden fail to open and force MOHradient to close down? Just wondering if there may be another reason for this happening. :?:

Your computer or video card is running out of memory. It will crash if there are to many textures showing in the texture window. The only fix is to get a video card with more memory, and it wouldn't hurt to add more memory to your computer as well.

It happend a lot when I had a 32Mb TNT2 card, and it still happens, less often, with my 64Mb GeForce3 Ti 500 card.

or 1st make sure that you do not have a brush face selected and that you have textures-show in use ON.

hmmm..

Well computer issues shouldnt be a problem for me i have 1024 mb ddr 333mhz memory 2.7 ghz and a 128mb asus video card

and as for having the brush face not selected thing, I'll go try to see if that works when I get home.
