Editing a Map

How can I edit a map that has already been built and put into a .PK3 file?
I found a map I like but it needs some small changes made and some items added.
WINRAR opens up the PK3 file, but MOHRadiant does not recognize any of the files in any of the folders.

Thanx Surgeon!
I really want to make my own from scratch, but am kinda intimidated with everything.
I thought seeing the structure and editing an already made map would show me how each element is put together in the final product.
Sort of learning by disecting and analyzing a map that already works.

If you have the Spearhead SDK there are a couple of example maps in it that you can open with MoH Radiant - the Berlin TOW map for one

then I wouldn't decompile if I were you. The decompiler removes or changes triggers, changes paths, hollows every brush, detaches all the lod terrain, etc.............;

Agreed, just make your own... this is a great site for beginner mapping tutorials... as is Nemesis' MOHAA Radiant tutorial page.
I've been at this mapping thing for about 6 months now, and I'm at the point where I could confidently recreate any MOHAA stock map. Now I'm just trying to figure out all the other little nuances, shortcuts, and quirks with Radiant. It's a great program, I have a background in 3D rendering, using programs like 3D Studio Max, and MAYA... and I find the interface in Radiant to be very similar. Very user-friendly once you get the hang of it.
