when i open the script for smokenades in sh i see this line that uses an .spr file, but i cand find them nowhere, someone knows where i can find these

SPR is short for sprite. I also can't find them--they may be in the game engine.

The .spr extension is very misleading: it tells the game the given texture has to be rendered as a sprite.
A file smokegrenade_allied.spr doesn't exist. The game just uses the texture smokegrenade_allied (probably in sprites.shader).

and how do you create a new one then?
i saw that shader also but i couldnt find the shader for that sprite

I don't know if you can, but "model vsssource.spr" is used in a lot of smoke tiki's.

Yes you can make as many new sprites as you want. Just make a texture and a shader for it (with the spriteGen command). Then in your .tik file append .spr to the texture name.

jv, your a mod here, it would be verry cool if there where more tutorials at things people use alot, like the triggers, more ai options, the spr, importing a model and stuff like that

i didn't say you have to do it, but next time someone asks something and someone can answer it you might as the people to write a tut about it
