.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Ok, I am about to make an Arab skin, bomb belt included Now this is not meant to offend anyone, I am just reflecting reality and feel like doing a quick thing rather than working on a map.

What I need is some way to modify the guys grenades or something similar to explode with the force of say ten grenades when he hits the trigger that I will make for his hand.

Any ideas on how to make it work ?

ps. I like the new buttons to edit , post etc....

Ok I need help, ROX want to help me out with this small project ?? I already am working on the outfits but cant get anything to display in mohaa, not sure if I got the right tikis or shader, its really starting to annoy me, I always have grief making skins work.

His long tunic suits my purpose, Rox do you reckon you could put together the folders with the right tikis and shaders for this guy ?

Or I can send you the tga's as I finish them, and you can put it all together, you probably have the scripting knowledge to make him explode too, I want to model a trigger for his hand too for the first person view,

Care to work with me on this one ?

i am not offended, i think its great. i wish i could help but i have no clue as to scripting. please let us all know, or just me if this gets people's panties in a bunch, when this skin is done.

Ah I got the skin scripts working now, now I have to make him or her look good ( guess the female one should shout " does my bomb look big in this ? " )

I still need help with exporting the trigger model for the hand and making the suicide guy explode, Rox must be able to help me out there

The skin is coming alond quite nicely, Rox I am gonna ask MPowell if maybe we could use his dynamite mod and adapt some of it for the exploding guy, if Powell says yes do you think you could adap the scripts ?

Or if we dont get to use the dynamite could you help make him explode another way ?

This guy is gonna be cool. I have almost the whole thing working now, he can explode, he sings when he pulls his trigger, I think it will be excellent hearing someone start to sing, you will know not to get near him as his bomb is primed when he sings, only thing is he sings at different pitches , as soon as thats fixed and if mpowell gives me the ok to use his dynamite mod then I will release the bomber in the next day or so.

Ooops, to make him explode choose your grenades, holding down the button arms the bomb and makes him sing let go of the button to explode

man that is so good. great work. the only problime i see is that when you "charge" the bomb the guy still rears back like he's tossing a nade, and when you let go it looks like he just tossed a nade.

kinda looks like he's pulling rip cord. other than that this is one hell of a skin.

A couple questions...

Did you see the detonator in his hand ?

Did you hear the " Call to Prayer " when you primed the bomb ?

Yeah I know he holds it like a grenade, but thats a limitation of the way I am making him explode, but I was using my imagination and..

"Our Hero presses the trigger, raises his arm in a last act of defiance, he sings the praise of " Allah " peace be upon him, then kinda throws the detonator, as the detonator leaves his hand, the pressure on the button is released, and BOOOOM"

While I was making it I was setting the size of the explosion while the bomb could still be thrown, I got a pretty big mushroom cloud going, since I made it explode instantly I increased the size of the fireball quite a bit, if anyone can grab a screenshot while they watch a guy explode I would be very happy to see it

i could see the detonator just a nade befor ei pull the pin, and i could hear the song, but when i switched skins when ever i would pull a nade it would show the detonator and play the song when i went to through it.

i would love to see a screen shot too!

can this be used in others servers??? i know they wont hear the singing unless they have it.. but if you go into a server and want to suicide bomb a buy you snuck up on... will it work? i bet i will get accused of using some sort of hack or something... lol.. no worries.. its an awesome skin. im d/ling it now and im gonna go blow the shiz outta people
