Hey all,
I was testing out a map I'm working on, just after I finished compiling it, and it worked fine. However, when I went into the game to try it again, I got this error:
ERROR: unknown escape character '\u' in 'maps/dm/testmap.min'
I'm clueless in this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The min file is created by the game when you run your map. Go to the MOHAA/main/maps/dm folder and right click on the file named "testmap.min". Pick "open with" and set it to Notepad. Search it for the error "\u" which is not in any of my min files. I hope you can figure out how it got in there, because I have no clue.
Hmmm...

You could try to remove the .min file from it's location, and reload the map... it's should create a new .min file...
That is, if ur not on a Mac.

.MIN files are created for your map, on the first run if one is not present. You can safely delete this file. As far as I am to understand it is only needed for mac users. If you release your map to the public. Run it first then copy the .min file to the same place you keep the bsp for the file. Make sure you send it out with the packaged version.

Well you could try using an empty .min file...
