Thats weird...

Somehow, in the editor, I made a brush with only 6 vertices (rather than the standard 8 ). I noticed it when I got a duplicate plane error, and the editor pointed me to that brush. I was gonna take a pic, but I already erased it...

if your asking how tihs happened,
you overlapped one face with another, giving 2 vertices one co-ordinate twice,
if your just letting us know,
oh

yeah but, i tried to find the other 2 vertices. i moved all the vertices around, but they only added up to 6.

once a degenerate plane has been made, it's a pain in the ass trying to get the vertices to move away from the ones they're on, sometimes if your lucky and you have more than 10 vertices, you can just bend and stretch the brush until the old vertices pop back out, never had that luck though with triangular brushes

- If you ask me! I would just delete that brush and start over rather then trying to recover the previous vertexes you lost...
- I have had stuff like that happen too. The first time, i was trying to fix it but after a while i fixed it, but it will take longer then just rebuilding a new brush. And besides that! You prevent errors from being made by trying to recover the vertexes..

- I wasn't pointing out what you had done, my friend. I was just pointing out what i do, when i lose a vertex, or get such irritating probs...
- Are you explaining to me by shouting...

that you erased the brush and the vertexes where still there or some kind?? That isn't possible..., because then it is a new brush or lost face.. I see you started with a 6 vertex brush, is that right? Man u'r confusing me..

i made a brush, it had 6 vertices, then i erased it and redid it, then teh idea popped in my head to take a pic, but it was already gone.

- Ow, okay, i understand...!
- If you need another 6 vertex brush, it's easy, use the clipping tools in mohradient and slice a nice part of the 8 vertex box and it will be a trianglelair brush with 6 vertex's
