I normally use 3d studio max, but gave Yariks tutorial a chance, so i got the cheapo gMax, which looks cool for its game features... (free? cheers Discreet)
My question is:

Is there other modelling software which is better then Milkshape3D?
I've seems to get problems when wanting to import my .md3 files which contains a bit more info. for ex: a tree with branches, leafs, etc... (3 objects)
I convert them to Editable meshes (gmax), but it just freezes milkshape to death on import. (im on high spec pc, so it cant be that)
