Scripting Sherman and Jeep

Im working on a map ( not very good - first map) and at the end of it, i want to have a sherman come downa street and get blown up, then have some jeep's come in with someone on the gunon the back and start shootig

Is this possible/

but it can move.

make it a script model, and then use this:

$sherman move(x) x
$sherman loopsound (what's the tank sound?)

whereby (x) is the direction, and x is the number.

actaully it will drive in spearhead, but becaue of no animation files, treads will not turn and it looks unrealistic. I have been playing around with it in a snowy map, where the treads would not be seen though. Then I used a Projecticle Generator to make it look like it shoots and added a custom tik for sound. Then created a exp where the tank shell would have hit.

I gave the targetname of tank to the sherman, set up some orgins in the map and did the rest in the script. I gave the the Projecticle Generator a targetname of Cannon, and the explosion the targetname of exp.


$tank drive $p2
$tankwaittill drive
$tank stop
$Cannon TurnON
$tank playsound cannon_fire
$exp anim start
$Cannon TurnOff

heheh one time i had a sherman drive, and then where it stopped i had built a little clip, but there was a hole in the clip, and i placed an invisible german inside the turret, and i just gave him a panzerschreck, and made him fire at things. :D :lol:
