It's generally not a good idea to start a request with the smilie .

Anyway there are major 'technical problems', that means I don't think it's possible to add bots to stock maps.

But If people can add mods to stock maps like tanks and boxes, i think theres a way to do it.

actually, jv_map, cant you just rip the entities from stockmaps and add in pathnodes, and recompile wiht -onlyents? thats what people did in halflife based games. the server masters would decompile a map, add entities, recompile wiht -onlyents, then put it on their server. that way, people could join, and play a map with new entities, and they didnt have to download anything.

No that's not possible either. The compiler will notice the number of brushes and entity count has changed, and will refuse to compile with -onlyents .

Surely, from one of my IM's with jv, if someone was to remake V2 with changes to it, like redo the map with same idea just different thing's in it you can "bot" it cant you?

what really annoys me is when people come here and request maps to be made without searching or researching anything! We do not do mapping to serve them, we get enjoyment out of making our own creation.

u're right. this place is to give mapping ideas, ask mapping questions, release maps vice versa. but not asking someone to map for u. (for free especially )
