LOD terrain

Post by Cuda »

I have two separate meshes that I have manipulated & placed together, but the heights do not match up, creating a visible gap as you run along the "seam" how do I put them together perfectly. I tried manualy with no success, to hard to do....

One way is to bury one in the other . A harder way is , I assume it is a simple patch mesh , is to line up all the green dots first on all 3 views then line up all the pink dots . If you press shift+click all the dots in a row up or down will be highlighted if you hold shift and click the same dot again the other dots either up or down will be highlighted . It is a lot of work lineing up the dots good luck .
