Stock Maps...Take Prefabs From?

Well...On maps like the Hunt, is there a way to take maybe the SniperHouse...or the BathHouse...turn That into a Prefab and make another map with em? Would be pretty nice.

Well you CAN do it, but they will be split into small pieces...

And basically: Take a look at the 2 houses you are talking about: They are REALLY simple architectures... make them your self.
Its really hard to fit structures into an environment they were not built for. It will often look a bit out of place...

If you still whant to use prefabs: search the net... there are plenty of them around.

Well, I made my first map a couple of days ago. It wasnt anything special..just a BiG box with a building in it. It worked good. But now, when i try to make bigger,better maps, none of them work. Guys were tellen me that i needed to add spawns and fix my sky box. I dont know how to make a Big Even box, i always mess**** up. Anyway, I wish the hunt could be re-made :(

In a few weeks you will laugh at the problems you have now if you keep at it. Trust me I've been there too... we all have.

Just keep asking all the questions you need, and combine it with a little of your own thinking and you will soom be whiping up mad architectures. :D

my first map works perfect. It loads and everything and letz me walk around in it from the game. I added a Prefab(Nothing big)just a little Hut, and all of the sudden, it dont work no more. I noticed my old map had a .BSP file, and my new one doesnt. ALso..I went into the game, and typed Maplist and only seen (mapname).bsp not (mapname2).bsp How do i make a .bsp for my new map?

How did you make it for your first map? You really make me wonder.

Try the BSP menu ("bsp_BSP", then "bsp_Vis", and finally "bsp_Light").

haha, that quote was funny. Oh Btw---Tried your Idea with the BsP menu & got this Error:
