Face skinning tutorial.

Here's a face skinning tutorial I read about 8 months ago, and was surprised I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the Skinning / Modelling forum. It's a great tutorial for beginners. In fact, it's the first modding tut for MOH I ever read. If you look at my current avatar to the left, that is my face on the model as a result of this tutorial.

When analyzing your results you should look at them in Spearhead (tut written before SH so not mentioned in tut), because the faces in the multiplayer options screen for regular MOHAA have a grin that makes the work hard to analyze.

I would be glad to help anyone who needs help with this tutorial.

Yes it is old, but just as applicable today as it was before, and probably will be for the new expansion.

Could anyone tell me if the face or costume textures can be transfered and used in any Q3 based game? Do the wrapping coordinates (or whatever they're called) remain the same from game to game?

Also, here's a link to the windows installer of the gimp just in case anyone decides to use it and doesn't like downloading and compiling the source code.
