Sound in DM

Hi! Done the search, tried the tutorials, downloaded test maps, yet nothing seems to work. So I post my question at my favourite forum.

What I want is, if it is at all possible, to get a sound to play (yes, i know, its been handled before, see the above comment) at a specific point in my DM/TDM map. Like an engine running, or the crackling from a fireplace. You know what I mean.

There seem to be several ways to do this, or none, depending on what tread you read.

What I would like is a pk3 with all the necessary files, including a .map file to download and dissect. Tried a few from Nemesis, but they didn't work.

I have ambient sound working, with my own .mus file and the sound from the player is there, so it should not be any thing wrong with my game i think. Though I'm not sure this works when you play it online, as I have read conflicting comments on this as well.

Anybody feel some energy surging through their body and have an uncontrollable urge to help me out? Please do so. :-)

Mostly I would like to know that it can be done in a MP map, or else I'll just scrap that idea.

You want to know how STUPID this error was?

Try misspelling the .scr as .src and see if anything works for you.

Well, works now in any case. :D
