Bots 'guarding' spawn area...

Well... as the topic suggests... I would like to 'arm' my map with some Bots wich should mainly be static but otherwise sniping a certain area.

They should be kill-able though, only to respawn and get back to their sniping spot... wich lies in the spawn area.

It's an objective based map, where teams have to take possesion of a specific part of the map to become victorious...

Team spawn areas are to be NOT reachable for the other team, however to make sure not even one enemy gets through I need the Bot snipers...

So, what about it ? is this feasible ?

Hmm well I think a map specific script is the way to go rather than using the bots script. I don't think there's a very efficient way to use my bots for this task :( :oops:

Or maybe there is. Just seems like an 'overkill' to me :?

Just thinking, but couldnt you just make a trigger that kills anyone from the opposite team if they run into it?

That's to easy... I wanna use Bots, and learn how to do that... :D

long as i didnt leave anything out it should work. keep in mind you have to mess around with somefiles to get ai to work in multiplayer. also, all players count as american, so you gotta do more special stuff if you want him to only attack members of a certain team.
