Pathmesh and Lights

I have a spotlight in my map that circles a area (duh). Anyway, during the traveling, I realize that some pathmeshes are not "reflecting" the lights. I have another pathmesh at the side and this one is working fine....Check it out:

In this example, my road (bocroad full) do not reflect the light.

The same here with the road texture (or mesh)....WHY ???????????

The properties of the texture you used do accept light. Change the shaders or the textures.

I think balr14 meant to say, "The properties of the texture you used do NOT accept light".

Thanks for the reply dudes. The shader is like any other working texture shader. Actually, I have 2 meshes, same texture and reacting different. Check it out:

There is a ground brush below the mesh. It's nodraw right now, but I've try caulk too.

This will be hard...

btw: If anyone wants to see the bizarre roads, check it on my hideout

The spotlight uses dynamic light not compiled light . It lights up the brush or mesh within its radius . If you where to spawn a light into a map near a wall you whould see the light lighting up both sides of a wall it it is too close to it or has too high a radius . Dynamic light is not as good as compiled light . All you can do is change the path of the light so that is is not too close to a border between brushes or so that its radius maybe catches both brushes by putting the path on the border not sure you may need to experiment .

Yeah bdbodger, I was testing w/ other lights and had the same conclusion: the dam dynamic lights. :?

I'll try replace these meshes for brushes, see wtf is going to happen...

Dynamic lights

Dynamic lights will shine brighter when they are near a normal lightmap area--like under the streetlamp light--if there is one. So maybe you just need to put dim lights around its path.

Thanks dudes. My map is fine right now. I've replace the pathmeshes for very thin brushes and the dam dynamic lights are working perfectly on the ground.
