turning off autosave feature in MOHAA?

Hi all,
Does anyone know a way to disable the autosave feature in MOHAA?
That is..... not have it save every map one loads at startup time.

As you may be aware, each save can eat up quite a few hundred K
of disk space, so if one fires up a mission(map) they are working on
twenty or thirty times a day for a few weeks one can add huge amounts
of useless saved files. I get tired of having to go into the save folder and manually delete them, which off course also then further defragments one's hard disk.

Thanks for any helpful hints. I looked in all the console settingw while in the game, e.g. advanced settings etc., and DID NOT find a button to click on that would enable/disable autosave feature.

no, but you can delete them.

yeah i hate that too i just delete the save folder every once in a while.

btw i just checked how big it is right now and its 300 mb.

Frigen dirty no good...... That's how General Patton may have responded! Makes you wonder about how these "modern" game developers think. They seem to overlook so many basic things that would be user friendly. There as bad in many ways as the folks at Redmond if you know what I mean.... I'll let it go at that.
