Im trying to get a friend of mine to start out with mapping for mohaa, he has experience of 3dsm since version 2 and been doing a lot of work since, but the other night after a few (

) he asked me a question that i couldn't answer... so...
Can you create maps straight into 3DSM and then somehow move it over to MohRadiant to add textures etc...?!
And this is for MohAA not SH.

Then again...
Can he possibly work in 3DSM, save as .3ds, open it in gMax > export .md3 > open it in MS3d > etc... that way?

well scorpio just released a beta of his lr3d .map import export. it doesnt do textures yet, so you would have to add textures and entities in radient. but you will need registered lightray3d(68$) and then you can do 3dsmax-->.3ds-->lightray3d-->.map-->mohradient. i maybe able to export for ya if ya want. but i dont visit these forums often. so im me on aim or msn

can't 3dmax export as a skl ? The SDK comes with 3dmax plugins and a skl to skd converter .
