SCR PROBS

Post by kho »

I have bin reading tons of tutorials and have a stupid problem. I have a plane in the map so i called it mohcc1.scr (my script for the plane), And I've built Planes blowing up the whole level from the radio call to the allies. WHAT DO I CALL THAT SCRIPT. mohcc1(1).scr lol?

You just have 1 script per map - you just put everything together

It's easier to make just more scripts. In one script, ambient sound, fog etc. And in another script for example for a plane... :)

What is the name of your map (mohcc1?) and what game type is it (dm obj)? You can have as many scripts as you like, but you need one named after your map that will call up the other scripts in global.

exec global/mohcc_blowup.scr

A script can do more than one thing at a time. So, It is easier to just make a new tread for the blowup planes:

level waittill prespawn
thread planes_fly
thread blowup_planes
end

planes_fly:

$planes_fly_trigger waittill trigger
etc...
end

blowup_planes:

$blowup_trigger waittill trigger
etc...
end
