Road Acting Weird-Read this

The road i have created it really weird. It flashes all the time and i can see the grassy texture i had on it b4. Is there a way to completely delete a surface that ive created and just make a knew one in its place?

You may have two roads in the same space. Select it and then select it again. If the red color just dims, lift the second road up and out. Then you can delete it.
It might also be that your road is in the same space as the LOD Terrain below. It has to be above the lod, with the sides bent down. Or, the lod has to be lowered under the road.
