weird compile problem

Post by kho »

This problem never ever happends to me b4.

I compiled this map (cuban missile crisis) about 5 times for testing for glitches and shit. Well i added a usable flak turret and a room with a ladder gonig to the radio room. When i compiled, this is the message that it said:

Loadportals: couldn't read (the directory)mohcc1.prt

When the map finished compiling, the map wouldn't work. Can someone can explain why?

by the way, heres some pics of my map:

Invalid script or shader value or bad parsing. Or texture compression problem. Check the error messages in the console log.

The prt file is created in your BSP stage, if it fails: the next ( VIS ) stage will not find the file and complain. Add > my_log_file.log at the end of the BSP compile command to see what is failing. The text file my_log_file.log will contain the log of the BSP compile...
