That looks like a place where I would not like to sneak up on a macine-gun nest.... mo place to cover! But apart from that: looking good, nice mood.

it kind of looks that way, but there's lots of places you can cross the river and get into the jungle, on both sides.

are you guys doing Iwo Jima?

There is one mapper working on an Iwo Jima map, but you never know about mappers until the map is done.

Shooting for some sort of beta in September. Progress tends to slow in the summer... lots of people have other activities.

I thought this batch of trees and bushes turned out really well. I have 5 - 6 other new ones, but they don't go well on this map. Face counts are getting up there, (about 90 - 120), but you can't make decent big jungle trees with 30 faces. Here's a closeup of one big style. It's 1600 units tall and 1400 units around:
