does andy one know how i can make the sliding doors open slow?!?!?!? :idea: or just plain how to change the speed of the doors ? thx.... :lol:

select your func_rotatingdoor

or whatever it is for sliding door

then hit the n key

there should be a list of keys u can type in the default door opening speed is 0.3 i belive..

If i had radient on this comp id explain mroe detailed.

key: speed
value: (any number, the bigger, the slower)

'10' would be fast, '50' slower, '100' much slower.

Uhm I would think the bigger the faster... vice versa if you use the 'time' key though.

you would think it is decimal or time...but not. Bigger numbers make slower doors. I think it has to do with how LONG it takes the door to get to its open/closed position, not the true 'speed' of the moving door. Test out a quick map with them and use 10 vs. 50.

speed = unit moves per second
time = total movement in seconds

speed 42 will make the door move 42 units in one second so 84 will be twice as quick

but

time 42 will make the door finish opening in 42 seconds, so 84 will take twice as long
