does every1 here with more than your average amount of posts have their own newbie to take under their wing?

they dont use the forum as much,
they chat on instant messangers,
they only post questions to specific people,

am i reading too much into some of these posts, or is this actually happening?

Well let me tell you all a story, I did a course in recording sound for film, I made this film, I didnt get paid but I got my expenses covered and it was all experience.

It was some scenes set in London, from a women that lived in New York reminiscing about her childhood, big extravagant picnic and stuff, we ate all the stuff after.

Anyways, the girl I worked with was a lesbian ( her show is on tv as I type ) she put my name forward to work with her friends.....

I got a call , you wanna record the sound on a film, ?100 a day, I said cool, whats it about, well it PORN !!!

I think for a few seconds then say ok, I can deal with that, I only have to point a mic at them..

The conversation goes on a little then it comes up that its gay porn,

I swear to GOD right now I am 300% serious, true story, I turned down the job ( not that im homophobic of course ) and since tonight I never heard or saw the girl that put me in the frame for that until tonight..

Now she has her own lesbian show on late night UK tv

It was CHANNEL 4 I just noticed
