Obj Monastery chock full of botty goodness

Sumo has released a new old map today called monastery. It was originally made by me esspecially for Scorpio Midget. I am doing all my levels with bots now and so here we have monastery for bots.

Basic story, the nazis have taken over a Monastery deep in a snowey mountain and have aa guns set in the surounding mountains. Allies are to liberate the monastery. You can go by cable car or hoof it deep into the mountain.

lol you killed private scorpio midget! no wonder he didnt use it! btw is ~20 fps considered good fps? cool map, you took some of my ideas! :evil:

Dont worrie bro I wont freak out if you use my ideas that were your ideas anyway lol.

20 fps comes from useing fraps at the same time, also I had all the video settings maxed out accept for haveing it at 800 by 600.

Yeah I'm so glad for jv's new sound fix its awesome haveing custom sounds, like the wind on the mountain really adds to the feel.

2 bad there is a set aout of bots.....

Maybe im doing something wrong but it wont let me add more bots.....

Just open the pk3 with pakscape and then make the adjustments to bots in the scr file, you could have 100 if you want.


level.jvbot_showavatar = 0
level.debug_light = 0
level.jvbot_respawning = 1 // uhm, better just leave at 1 for the beta
level.alliesbots = 8 // max number of bots
level.axisbots = 5
level.dmrespawning = 1 // respawn players, necessary!
level.dmroundlimit = 10
level.clockside = "axis" // axis win when timelimit is hit
level.defusing_team = "axis"

the tram went up to the moutain but didn't come back down after reapawn I had to walk . I don't like walking ha ha ha

To change the number of bots you can also do:
jvbot_forcenumalliesbots [number]
jvbot_forcenumaxisbots [number]

Hint: after typing jvbot_f press TAB (a number of times) so you don't have to type it all out, also prevents typos :wink:

yeah if only you could tell all the bots to follow you onto the cablecar.
