Right click in the 2D window and find "info", then "player", then "start". Place only one of those in your map (required for all game types). Then place up to 16 "allied" and 16 "axis" ones around, if you map will be objctive or team match. If your map will also be played as a Free-for-all, you will need up to 32 "deathmatch" ones.
If you don't see "info" on the list, you probably don't have "entdefs.pk3" in MOHAA/main. It should be in the MOHTools/docs folder, if you haven't move it yet. AI nodes are also under "info".
