How would I make a ladder?

I read the ladder tutorial and it doesnt explain how to make the ladder. It just tells you how to make the ladder usable. I want to know how to make the ladder part with round rungs and bars.How would you do that?

It's pretty simple. All you do is make the ladder out of individual brushes. In your case you'll want to make it out of lots of little cylinders.
