free domain names

i have just found some completely free hosting, and it will double the amount if i can get my own domain name and transfer it. I've decided on th hosting, i wont change my mind about that, so now i need a domain name. I will pay if I have to but i want one thats free. I tried a google search and it came up with sites like 'free domain name when you buy hosting' then the hosting was $50 or something. Is there a free domain name provider that doesnt do hosting as well? Any help would be much appreiciated

Free .com domains will come when pigs can fly. Gotta buy them, from what I know...

Your Internet Service Provider should have some free space reserved just for you. It may not be much, but you are already paying for it, and it should be "pop-up free" and "file downloadable".

I set up http://www.rjukanproject.tk/ to point at my ISP: free adress of http://members.chello.se/bjarne.gronnevik/ that I had before I got hosted at http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/rjukanproject/

I think Its a pretty sweet deal, considering you get one rather harmless .TK popup for the complete session.

( and besides I find it a bit funnu to be on the TK domain when doing a mohaa site. You know: short for Team Killer

domains aren't free and you will never find one,

a .com domain standard price is $20 US dollars, I wouldn't suggest free hosting, because you always get hooked over, and you find out that it gets slow, and wont support some languages, ie php or asp.. stuff like that
