.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

What are all these [mapname].[number] files in the 'snapshots' folder of the folder where the map i'm working on is? Can i delete them when i exit MoHradient?

In Radiant, click edit>preferences and uncheck snapshots at the bottom left of the new window.
