.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

I wanted to improve my framerate of my map, so i did the manvis tut of spearhead SDK. But i did see one thing:

Select the BSP->BSP_Run command from the toolbar.

I don't see BSP_Run, how come?

It is probably some dos file they left out. The tutorial just wants you to run that test map.

But how can i see where i need to place vis blocks and which need to be linked, because i can't see what the console is drawing what the player doesn't see.

You need to use a console command,

r_showtris 2

this should show everything that is being drawn.

I haven't read the tutorial, but you need the cheats turned on to uses ?r_showtris 2?. The key to the left of "1" will bring up the console in the game and then you type it in.

I typed r_showtris 2 but the console, said it was cheatprotected, so it did not work. I want to remind i'm using spearhead so maybe it si another command

Did you run the game with +set thereisnomonkey 1

Maybe you could try spanking your monkey

Try adding the monkey business to your SH shortcut,

I have it installed on D, adjust it to match your installation.

It there is no monkey in development mode, that must mean that the standard installation contains a monkey ( thereisnomonkey 0 ). Where is it exactly? And is it armed?

It's in front of the monitor I think , possibly armed with a hammer to speed up the processes

Try also setting the "gametype" from the shortcut.
