ERROR: LoadDDS:

Post by Daniel Radcliffe »

After adding a few items to my map, including batteries, and compiling to check how things look i started MoHAA to try the map out. The map wouldnt load because of this error:

ERROR: LoadDDS: Image textures/models/items/battery.dds - width and height not a powers of 2

Although i could remove the batteries from the map as they are only cosmetic, i would prefer not too and cure the problem. Can anyone tell me plz what the problem is and how to solve it.

thx

btw the batteries are /static/item/battery should this help.

My guess is the texture has a size like 181 x 259 or something. Powers of 2 would be

2
4
8
16
32
64
128
256
512
1024
2048
4096
8192

and so on...

Both Rox and I had that same problem just remove all the batteries from the map
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

The battery model is bad. Someone that knows modeling should volunteer to fix it, and the spy camera, and make a frogman, and a flare gun. and wirecutters while they are at it, ha ha.
