Some years ago in 6th grade (I won't forget this till the day I die) me and my friend used the bold 900+ page George Washington book to put a daddy-long-legs to justice. (insert gavel emotican here)

oh forgot to add... but in the average human lifetime, you swallow 16 spiders... but we're not average, so it's safe to say 15 spiders

I heard that urban myth before that we swallow however many spiders.

Its said you swallow them in your sleep, I sleep with my mouth closed so how would they get in ?

The spider I fought with was way too big to swallow without chewing for a while.

Books must be the best thing Mankind ever invented. I use them as ashtray raisers, to read :) pulp spiders ( though that one in the pics took direct hits from heavy books and still tried to break out )

Where would we be without books eh ?

 Are you serious?!? Every once in a while I see spiders in my house, and if I don't kill them, they seem to disappear... oh no.

you dont kill them if you spot them alco ???

I cant rest until I killed it

I have a spider phobia, really I do, though in recent years I am better, I can deal with them. The thing that freaks me is if someone else is with me, I get crazy and think they might throw it at me, really I could kill someone if they did that. My close friends realise not to f*ck around with spiders when they are with me. If I am alone, I can size it up and attack on my own terms, I FRICKIN HATE SPIDERS.

I heard that hell is meant to be your worst fears, I better get a grip on my spider problem :)

I have arachnophobia too. Most of the time, I work up enough courage to kill it, but when I do, I get this CRAZY feeling... and there are those times where I freak out and almost want to run out of the house..

I also get that feeling that if someone kills one, they want to throw it in my face or something. It's really embarrassing when they turn around and go to throw it away, and the dead thing gets near me, and I jump back thinking they're gonna throw it at me, and they look at me like "weird..."

I used to work in a pet store and we had a very dark brown tarantula that loved to sit on my head because it was warm. I don't know how he did it but he always manged to get a decent grip so he wouldn't fall off. He'd sit there for an hour sometimes. Most people didn't notice because he sort of blended in with my hair, but more than a few people freaked. One woman fainted.
