I have updated my dog script for stock maps without patnodes . I have added JV sound fix so should work on servers and took out some bad animations and speed up tha dogs a bit . Also I now give you the option of haveing the dogs lite up or not .

I remember in an earlier version with the tik file that I had the sounds working server side. I downloaded that file you have and cannot hear the dogs serverside. Is there something I am missing for setting here or?

seems to only work with mohaa not spearhead for spearhead you can make a ubersounds2 and put it in your ubersounds directory I think . The sounds work in dm or obj you can edit the sounds in the file and add more after maps . or you can cache the dogsounds.tik from before but these only work on the client . I used it on a server and it worked for mohaa . I didn't know that it would not work with spearhead when I made it . You can get the tik here

You should see the dogs fly in Spearhead, its funny. In AA they are ok but for some reason loaded in Spearhead they go so fast its wierd. I dont understand why the sounds will not work serverside though. Maybe cause the in Spearhead the Ubersound.scr has \\ in front of all the aliases. I dunno

I tried it in spearhead and I got sound . I started a team dm game and it worked for me . If you don't have sound maybe you tried it in single player from the maplist ? . I looked for sound fixes in my mainta directory and didn't find any . Does anyone else out there have a problem with the sounds in spearhead , If so post and let me know . Yes the dogs seem faster but in mohaa they fly around a bit too .

Ok for spearhead open the global/dmdogs.scr and change or delete this line
self.runanimrate=5
or you will get super dogs able to leap tall buildings in a single bound lol

I don't know how I over looked this but I didn't notice that the notice scale of the dogs was set wrong . The script had it at 4000 wow take about dumb dogs I don't know how I overlooked that . I will fix it right way if you are useing this mod you can fix it yourself or redownload it change the notice scale to 50 twice as fast as the default of 100 . Sorry about that I guess I need to check check and tripple check things better .

Ya, you can launch your own TDM game, but thats just as good as having it client side as well. I have MOH installed in two different directories for testing things like this to make sure before I load it up to the server that it works. I have made serveral attempts but no luck in this one. Something about Spearhead that wont let it work. Then again, its possible it does, but I confident that I did everything correctly but it just wont work.

Yes I don't know why the other party in my game said they got sound with no sound fixes in his game got some bad info I think . Jv's sound fix does not seem to work in spearhead .

I am having trouble with the sounds in Spearhead. I have the dogs working fine...but I just keep getting alias needed in...i forgot where..sorry. What should I do?
