NoDraw difference between AARadiant and SDK?

Post by Ramah Palmer »

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference location wise between the NoDraw with the normal MOHRadiant and the SDK version? I ask because I made a map with the SDK version and have just converted it to run on AA. All the textures are correct (unlike another map I converted about a week ago) except for the nodraw which shows up as a bright white texture with thick black lines on it.
Any ideas why this has happened? How can I make this MOHRadiant look in the right place for the nodraw?

It's strange coz it shows up Radiant fine. Only when it compiles is it wrong.

Thanks.
Mapping is just INCREDIBLY time consuming.

In the editor, type the word utility in the text box at the top of the screen. All the utility textures should show up in your texture window. Find the green "nodraw" texture and replace the ones in the map with it. Hitting key U a couple of times will get rid of the unused textures in the texture window.

It may help if you change the name of the mainta folder to Xmainta to disable it.

Ok, thanks m8. I replaced all the old textures and now it works. Strange that. I can understand new textures in SH not showing up in AA but who would have thought that a stock texture like nodraw should have issues?
