MBuilder makes mistake in the batchfile: In one line it writes
Copy "D:\MOHAAT~1\MAPS\dm\map-name.bsp" D:\S\MOHAA\main\maps
but ought to write
Copy "D:\MOHAAT~1\MAPS\map-name.bsp" D:\S\MOHAA\main\maps\dm
Does anyone know how to correct this prob?

no, it is not and it is.
As I can't hear sounds in single player and I am planing a dm-map anyway, it is switched to dm but with intention.
As you can see in the command line, I want it to be copied into mohaa/main\maps/dm, but it doesn't. Instead it tries to fetch it from maps/dm in the mohtools directory.
I once tried MohPhile but as far as I remembered, it wanted to know more about my comipling-wishes, than I even knew about...
MBuilder is just easier to start with. If you know a tut about the different options and their meaning (for newbs), I gladly would change

Mbuilder works fine for me.
MBuilder copies the .bsp from the Map Source directory ( where MOHAA is installed) to the Game Directory. If a MP gametype is chosen the subdirectory /DM of the Game Directory is used as a target directory.
My guess is when switched from the SP to the MP map you probably didn't change the setting in MBuilder or you got the paths switched around ( has it worked once I wonder )
If you're not sure can you post the following settings in Mbuilder:
Game Directory
MAP Source Directory
which gametype you've chosen (you'll find this under Other Options)
and the paths to the Main and your custom maps folders
In order to make your sound working I think the solution is to have a look at the 'ubersound workaround' tut from jv_map or put test_ as a prefix in your mapname ( not recommended though).
Good luck

this sounds as if I had to put my .map files into the 'd:\s\mohaa\main\maps' folder as well?! I have stored them in 'd:\mohatools\maps' and want the compiled maps - the .bsp files - copied into 'd:\s\mohaa\main\maps' or 'd:\s\mohaa\main\maps\dm' if they were dm-maps
Game Directory: D:\S\MOHAA
Compiler directory: D:\MOHAAT~1
Map Source Directory: D:\MOHAAT~1\MAPS
MBuilder.exe is in D:\MOHAATOOLS\mbuiler.exe
Mohaa.exe is D:\s\MOHAA\main\mohaa.exe
Game Directory: D:\S\MOHAA
Compiler directory: D:\MOHAAT~1
Map Source Directory: D:\MOHAAT~1\MAPS

Where can I find it?have a look at the 'ubersound workaround' tut from jv_map
Most of the time is easiest to save your map file in the same directory as the bsp file.
My ubersound tutorial is here.
For single player maps you'll also have to read this tutorial
To find out how to compile without MBuilder, see this thread at TMT.
