locked doors?

how do u make locked doors?
like
when u walk up to one...and u hear that little "click"
i read the tutorial but i don't think it works...

I suggest you read the tutoial again. Or make a search in the forum... this question has been answered many times before.

The key of this is to make the trigger and the script. not an actual door!

make sure that everything is exactly the same. all the targetname's and the lines of the script. and actually i think all you need in your script is

Code: Select all

exec global/door_locked.scr::lock
in your script in the main section.

and you have to have is a trigger_use brush and give it a key of "targetname" and the value of "door_locked". oh and you do that by selecting the trigger_use brush and hitting "n".

should work. check spelling though!!

Adding to a script goes beyond what needs to bne done to make a locked door, make a search in the forum and the answear will arrive.
