How to create a usable machinegun (MG 42) in a DM MOHAA map?

Post by Asterix »

What do I need to do to make a machinegun in my bunker usable so when the player gets close to it and presses ENTER they can man it and shoot? Is this even possible and how would one go about making it happen? Also is it possible to insert a tank in my DM map so I can get in it and shoot and drive it as was the case in the single player campaign MOHAA (King Tiger mission)...

Thanks on your help.

my advice do a search for your questions to see if they have been covered in the past. most likely they have.

just a suggestion before you get flamed by the veterans on here.

as for the tank, i think there are a few people out there that have done this for multiplayer maps(not too sure) but there is a tutorial that came with the SDK version of radiant that tells you how to make a drivable tank/jeep/halftrack for single player missions.

map on!

I followed Nemesis's tutorial but can not find MG42 in my turret weapons->german folder. All I have there among various artillery is MG42 bipod...

Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

Thanks a bunch - I actually found a similar post in our forum... I gotta keep reminding myself to SEARCH FIRST, THAN POSE QUESTIONS IF YOU DON'T FIND ANY ANSWERS... I think all of the major questions are answered in our forum.
