Is it just me, or does the Radient undo suck?

Post by silversound »

Seems like the undo in Radient is not really an undo. Should be called a "might undo"
PM me your tips of the day.

Radiant always undoes, but you need to learn how it does this. For example if you have no brushes selected and select undo it undoes what you done last, but if you have a brush selected you get a different style of undo depending on what your last action was in relation to the selected brush.

It does all make sense, kinda, once youve figured out how it works.

another trick i have learned due to the unpredictablility of undo is use the old standard ctrl+c which copies the brush before you do anything to it. If you dont like what the result of your last action is delete it and hit ctrl+v or i think space works too.

Also as Daniel pointed out you hit undo after you deselect a brush it will just give you the brush you just deselcted again. It can work if used right but i still havent seemed to figure it out so i just copy paste all the time.

Hope this tip helps

cool, didn't know ctrl + c worked :)
I only use undo, if I think it's going to do the right thing (most of the time I'm right :P)

Its like a Mac.

You have to "trick" it into doing something you want :)

Like Daniel Radcliffe said it works but not excatly how other undos work in other progs.
