Question with sound and 88

Aight well sort of got to questions. Whenever i make a map there isnt anysound. no xplosion no foot steps no nothing. How do fixx this???

Aight seacond prob. Anyone no where i can get a flak88 that works??? a tutorial on how to make it work would be nice as well.

For sounds, try putting the bsp file in the main/maps/dm folder. Then run the game as a team deathmatch. If it is singleplayer (in the maps folder), the bsp file name has to start with the word "test" to hear the sounds.

Don't know where to get the working cannon tutorial off hand, but I'm sure it is out there somewhere.

I found this to work also . Use the flak88turret.tik and give it a targetname $gun1. Make several script_origins with the same targetname $gun1_target . You must also set the projectile for dm .

fire_gun1:

$gun1 DMprojectile models/projectiles/tigercannonshell.tik

while(isalive $gun1)
{
local.gun1aim= $gun1_target[randomint($gun1_target.size)+1]
$gun1 setaimtarget local.gun1aim
$gun1 waittill ontarget
$gun1 anim fire

wait 5
}
end
