i have a .map, .bsp .vis .Mohlight and im making a tdm map but i cant figure out what to do next

not exactly the same he has other files and i dont know what todo and when i rename my winzip thing to mapname.pk3 nothing happens

Instead of renaming your zip you could get yourself a copy of pakscape, it will save it out in the correct format.

Or you can copy someone elses pk3, remove the files inside then replace them with yours.
