is there a way to trim down a the lights exposure i would want to make the light beam soooo small anyway to do this?

Select the light, hit n - enter key = light, value = 50 or 100 or until it looks right....

To dynamically change it hold ctl + ]....or crt + [ to scale it larger or smaller.
