This falls into the Useless But Hmmm category.

I did a page by page browse of the Scripting threads (my fav) in search of the most commonly used word in the subject line.

The word "Noob" appears to be the Number 1 choice.

BiG_HeaD is awarded the crown for most posts with NOOB in the subject line. Its seems to be a prefix in all of his.

Interestingly enough, posts with the word Noob in the subject line does not seem to gather alot of replies. Which goes to say that maybe its not the best word to use.

PS: I was bored. Was waiting on JV and/or Alcoholic to reply to my post.

hmmm...... I did notice that "noob" is a common prefix, but I didn't notice that it doesn't get much response

Yeah I noticed too it's getting a tendency to call yourself a noob before asking a question. It really is pointless though.

@ jv_map. I have to disagree with your mechanics teacher. I am a "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer" kind of person.

And, I am a firm proponent of message topics stating as clearly as possible in the allowable space the problem itself.
Specific= better luck searching.
N00b= many many many many matches. (If of course you search for "Noob")

The fact that the threads dont get a lot of posts are probably because n00b questions are often easily answered, and do not cause a lot of debate... not because they are stooopid questions...

The only stupid question is the one not asked.

hmm, im with crunch on this one. there are plenty stupid questions. watch newly weds on MTV. jessica simposon has plenty of em.
